For two days in a row, I've had to make myself an asshole in public. I've gotten a sandwich from the same pretentious grocery store both days, and both days I've had to tell them to take the tomato slices they placed on there off and replace them with better ones.
I feel a little guilty and dickholeick, but I assure you these were shit tomatoes. The core was visible and did not look at all as delectable as I thought they should. After asking, they did take the time to pick out lovely slices that tasted and looked delicious.
I think the largest problem was that they didn't recognize me as a fancy man worthy of the best tomatoes they had to offer ... hopefully they learned an important lesson.
